New HBO Show: True Detective
A couple of weeks ago we had the start of a new HBO show called True Detective. With a top drawer cast and a high budget it looks very promising. Two episodes in it looks like it will be even more than the sum of its parts.
T-bone Burnett (of Oh Brother Where Art Thou fame) wrote the music for the starting titles. And its a classic!

It's a deep space field taken by the Hubble telescope. The light which is emitted by the galaxies you are looking at started its journey many thousand years ago to get here to you today. So in a sense it's like looking back in time.
